Dry Cell and Storage Battery Joint Stock Company (PINACO) - one of the leading battery companies in Vietnam was founded since 1976.  The company has become a public company since 2004 with Stock Code: “PAC”. The initial equity is about USD 7.5 Million. PINACO consist of three factories as follows:

-           Dong Nai Battery factory with the production capacity of 500,000 Kwh per year.

-           Sai Gon Battery factory with the production capacity of 500,000 Kwh per year.

-           The Eagle Dry cell factory with the production capacity of 250 million units per year.

To fulfill the annual growth rate of more than 10% PINACO is going to invest a new battery factory in Nhon Trach – Dong Nai industrial zone with production capacity of 2,000,000 Kwh per year. The factory is expected to start its first stage operations in 2008.

PRODUCTS:

The company offers two products types – Storage Battery and Dry Cell Battery.

STORAGE BATTERY:

PINACO develops a wide range of lead acid battery for automotive, truck, motorcycle, and lighting under brand names Dongnai, JP, Sakura. PINACO has marketed sealed battery (VRLA) for motorcycle, lighting, electric bicycle since 2007. We will introduced complete maintenance free (CMF) battery used for automotive, UPS in the near future. 

Maintenance Free (MF – DIN 43539) technology, being transferred from Jungfer Co. (Austria), coupled with major equipment from US, Germany, Austria, Italy, UK, ensures the outstanding features of PINACO's battery: higher capacity, less water vaporization, longer service-life. PINACO's storage battery always meets the highest industrial standards such as DIN 43539 and JIS D5301 – 5302.

DRY CELL BATTERY:

PINACO's Dry Cell Battery, under brand name The Eagle, has been highly appreciated for many years by consumers. We supply all sizes of zinc-carbon Dry Cell Battery such as D-size (UM1, R20), C-size (UM2, R14), AA size (UM3, R6), AAA size (UM4, R03).

The paper-lined technology, together with equipment from Germany, Korea, China, helps to shape the competitive particulars for our dry cell battery: high capacity, non-leaking and reasonable price. The Eagle dry cell battery now enjoys about 50% of domestic market, and it up to 80% in South Vietnam. The Company's Quality system has achieved ISO 2001:2000 certified by BVQI (UK) since 2002. PINACO has concentrated on acquiring TS 16949 to meet demand from automotive companies.
